We're looking for a committed, detail-driven HR Administrator to join our European HR Team. You'll thrive at Roland if you enjoy organisation, problem solving and supporting people in a fast paced environment. You don't need a degree or previous HR experience - just strong administrative skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine desire to support others.

THE POSITION:
This is a true generalist HR position, offering real variety from day one. No two days look the same and you'll have the chance to get involved in a wide range of HR activities. From reporting and systems administration to onboarding new employees, payroll support, benefits, staff training and employee queries. If you enjoy learning new things and gaining experience across multiple areas of HR, you'll find this role both rewarding and engaging.
As part of our European HR Team, you'll play a key role in keeping the department running smoothly and supporting the ongoing development of our HR services. You'll bring curiosity, initiative and a collaborative approach to everything you do - always looking for ways to improve processes, support colleagues and create a positive experience for employees.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Administrative Responsibilities:
You'll be at the heart of the team's day-to-day operations, helping to keep everything organised by maintaining employee files and HR systems, coordinating meetings, interviews and appointments for the team and producing monthly and ad hoc reports as required to ensure leaders have the insights they need to make informed decisions. You will support and coordinate employee engagement and wellness initiatives as well as keeping our intranet content relevant and interesting. You will assist with approval flows, leaver administration, staff recognition programmes and the coordination of training and development activities. You'll also prepare a range of HR documentation including, contracts, official letters, reports and presentations - ensuring everything is accurate, professional, and delivered on time.
Recruitment:
You'll play an active role in the recruitment process by posting vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews and managing correspondence with candidates. You'll also prepare onboarding materials such as contracts, handbooks, and induction schedules, helping new starters feel welcomed and supported from day one.
Employee Relations and Support:
You will be a friendly and reliable point of contact for employee queries offering clear guidance on HR policies, benefits and general HR topics. You’ll also coordinate company doctor appointments including bi weekly clinics, medicals, and other required assessments, ensuring employees receive timely information and support.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
You will support European payroll processes ensuring employee data is correct across our systems. You will also assist with the administrations of benefits programmes including healthcare, pensions and other schemes - helping employees understand and access what is available to them.
Compliance and Policy Management:
You will help ensure our HR files and processes meet legal and internal compliance standards. This includes maintaining confidentiality, supporting audits and updating company documents. You will play an important part in keeping our documentation compliant and up to date with the relevant employment laws and regulations.
Ad-hoc Projects:
You’ll support a variety of HR and business projects as needed, adapting to the needs of the team and the wider business. This is a role where you’ll have the chance to get involved in lots of different areas and develop your skills along the way.
