INTRANET & DIGITAL ASSET MANAGER

Based: UK
Working Pattern: Remote (occasional travel to Theale office as required)

THE POSITION:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Intranet & Digital Asset Manager to lead the management, development, and engagement of our global intranet platform – Engage – and our Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role is central to improving internal communications, streamlining asset delivery, and ensuring the efficient use of our technology investments across the company and partner network.
You’ll act as the global owner of Engage (built on SharePoint and Fresh) and the Adobe DAM, driving adoption, governance, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role with a blend of strategy, training, and operational management, connecting teams, assets, and information across the business.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Intranet Leadership (Engage)
Own the setup, configuration, and rollout of Engage 2.0, ensuring an engaging and user-friendly experience.
Partner with internal teams to develop content structure, governance, and editorial standards.
Champion Engage 2.0 adoption by training users, encouraging best practices, and promoting its value company-wide.
Analyse usage and performance metrics to continually improve engagement and functionality.
Digital Asset Management (Adobe DAM)
Take accountability for the effective use and return on investment of the Adobe DAM platform.
Rebuild and optimise the DAM infrastructure to deliver cost savings and reduce dependency on external storage systems.
Establish Adobe DAM as the foundation for future Martech integrations (e.g. website and dealer portals).
Define taxonomy, metadata standards, and user permissions to ensure efficient asset retrieval and governance.
Launch and manage secure DAM access for external stakeholders including dealers, media, and brand partners.
Internal Communication & Enablement
Support improved internal communication across global teams by leveraging Engage 2.0 and digital tools.
Collaborate with internal functions to align intranet and asset management strategies with business goals.
Provide ongoing training, documentation, and user support to maximise adoption and efficiency.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential
Experience administering SharePoint-based intranets (preferably with Fresh or similar add-on platforms).
Strong knowledge of digital asset management systems, ideally Adobe Experience Manager / Adobe DAM.
Demonstrated ability to manage platform rollouts, configurations, and user adoption.
Excellent communicator with skills in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive improvements.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
Background in marketing operations, internal communications, or digital transformation.
Understanding of MarTech ecosystems and integrations (e.g. CMS, CRM, dynamic content systems).
Experience training global teams or leading digital enablement projects.
Familiarity with governance and compliance standards for digital content storage and sharing.
