THE POSITION:
As MI Channel Marketing Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, co-ordinating and executing European dealer marketing activities to maximize the Roland share of business utilizing a range of relevant account-based marketing tactics. You will focus on building long term professional relationships with a selected part of our European dealer network and connect with Global and European Launch and Campaign activities to convert demand for Roland, BOSS and V-MODA brands on dealer online and offline platforms. You will also provide marketing support that achieves marketing objectives, drives customer loyalty, and supports profitable sales growth.
In addition, you will be encouraged to actively deepen your skills within current and relevant marketing techniques and platforms.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Business Development
- Together with internal stakeholders identify and feed forward new relevant partnerships and other opportunities to further grow the Roland/BOSS/V-MODA market share at European Dealer network.
- Build and retain long-term working relationships with relevant Roland stakeholders, as well as an optimized man-marking relationship with key staff within our European dealer network. Enhance relationships via dealer visits together with Account Managers to further understand dealer business and spot opportunities for proactive solutions.
Launches & Campaigns
- Co-ordinate the connection of Launch and Campaign activities with selected European dealer platforms, in accordance with agreed plan and guidelines.
- Provide hands-on support into Launch and Campaign Team, AR and Media when needed.
Channel Marketing
- Take initiative with MI Channel Marketing Manager and Product Management Team to plan, execute and analyse relevant marketing plans for the agreed European Dealer Network to maximize Roland/BOSS/V-MODA visibility at Dealer owned platforms.
- Utilise a relevant mix of organic and paid activities to maximise brand visibility on Dealer platforms and digital channels and actively contribute to grow Roland, BOSS and V-Moda business share.
- Ensure Dealer Marketing Plans align with both Global and European strategies as well as the annual dealer growth focus areas, as well as actively feed forward any opportunity for improvement. Ensure that all plans/briefs are properly approved ahead of execution.
- Transfer dealer marketing plans to advised formats and update regularly proactively, and meticulously communicate progress status to internal stakeholders.
- Provide review documents per dealer to share activity results internally and externally. Provide full feedback and visibility to MI Channel Marketing Manager on campaign performance to enable full analysis and reporting on ROI.
- Take key insights into next planning period to continually optimise our approach.
- Work with the European Shop in Shop (SiS) Team to deliver marketing plans and ensure that the European Dealer Marketing Plans are always aligned emphasizing the Roland Store value where relevant.
Digital Marketing
- Plan, execute and analyse organic and paid Social Media Campaigns within agreed European Dealer platforms, and where relevant in alignment with Global or European Launch and Campaign plans, in conjunction with MI Channel Marketing Manager and Product Management Team.
- Utilise digital advertising platforms (e.g., Search, Display, Shopping, Video) to be able to plan, execute and analyse relevant digital paid campaigns with agreed European dealers. Drive results via regular performance reviews and optimisation of campaigns.
- Adhere to social media guidelines and policies to protect Roland Accounts and ensure safe working ethical standards, as well as provide support to the wider MI Channel team where needed. Drive results via regular performance reviews and optimisation of campaigns.
- Develop basic working knowledge of CRM techniques to be able to plan and analyse relevant CRM activities with agreed European Dealers. Drive results via regular performance reviews and optimisation of campaigns.
- Propose, plan, and create bespoke Dealer content (as in video, blogs, custom product pages) where relevant to support Dealer Marketing Plans as well as the connection with Global and European Launch and Campaign activities. Develop basic knowledge of SEO techniques to optimize Roland on-site visibility on Dealer websites.
Events
- Co-ordinate and execute Dealer initiated events (as in livestreams, in-store events, festivals and other) to facilitate a value driven customer experience of the Roland Brand.
- Co-ordinate all relevant operational activities including creating an activity pre and post briefing, booking demonstrators, artists, budget management, ordering of marketing materials as needed as well as relevant delegations of operational tasks.
Other
- Co-ordinate marketing investment in line with budget allocated per European Dealer Marketing plans. Ensure investment is planned and committed within agreed month as per plan. Reduce likelihood of under/overspending by accurate reporting per month and report any exceptions to MI Channel Marketing Manager to discuss re-alignment.
- Raise POs in REG NAV system before any activity is committed. Ensure PO is signed off before activity begins.
- Continuously refresh existing skill level via active participation and completion of corporate trainings offered via various platforms.
- Provide relevant and timely activity reporting and analysing for MI Channel Marketing Manager, and proactively contribute to research and propose ways to optimize or improve existing processes and KPIs.
- Support translation team to proofread requested copy to agreed deadlines.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Key Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a key member within a conversion-focused/commercial marketing team.
- Relevant degree in Business/Marketing
- Up-to-date knowledge of marketing practices and process.
- 1+ years hands-on digital marketing experience within SEM, SEO, and social media, within a B2C product/retail or e-commerce environment.
- Good project management experience: ability to manage multiple projects at once from initial planning to measuring results and continued optimisation.
- Event/campaign planning and management.
- Translating and proofreading skills (where relevant).
- Strong ability to speak and write in English is essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Good understanding of commercial, data-driven approach and the importance of data to make relevant decisions and analysing activity performance.
- Experience/knowledge of the music products industry is an advantage.
